Im Scary! Help!

Last Thursday I did my nails, like usual, only I used a nailpolish that I hadnt used in a while. I just took it off and OMG! My nails are like a bright neon yellow color. Ive seen some minor discoloration before from time to time, but never anything even close to this. It looks like its some fake, Halloween type of makeup on my nails. Its awful!
So, do you think the old nail polish would have done that, or is there something wrong with me causing my nails to turn color?

What color was the polish, if it's a medium or dark color make sure you put a clear bottom coat on first.
You can use peroxide to try and lighten them up. It should work, but it will dry out your cuticles.

Been there, done that. It's from the nail polish. It's best to use a clear bottom coat first, like Serena said.

I did use a clear bottome coat. I used that Sally Hansens Hard As Nails on bottom & top. The color was sort of a frosty/metallic silver with a brown tint to it. I have used this particular bottle of polish before and it didnt happen, but it has been quite a while since Ive used it.

Maybe it was old.
