Ok, I am pretty sad. Because, I got all the ADR'. I really wanted. I made them all last month, with no problems. But, after hearing such not good reviews, recently on Nine Dragons. I decided I should switch. So, I narrowed down my choice to Coral Reef. I love dessert, and all reviews of the resteraunt, rave about the chocolate wave.(Hey, that rhymed:lmao: ) Anyway, I called today to get in to Coral Reef, and the cm told me no go on August 31st. I'm really sad now. Can anyone cheer me about nine dragons, i know its a far fetch. Especially since it doesnt seem to be a popular resteraunt. :sad2: Oh well, like my mother always said "you make your bed, you lie in it". I just hope I am not lying in bed sick after my meal at nine dragons. :lmao: :lmao:

I wouldn't give up yet. People still have a few months before their trips have to be paid in full. I bet there will be a lot of cancellations. Keep trying! :goodvibes

I would defiately keep trying. Persistance has paid off many times for me in getting "sold out" resorts, rooms and yes, dining reservations. Keep trying every hour on the hour if you have to. Remember lots can happen that would cause a reservation slot to open up at the restuarant of your choice. Of course someone could cancel a trip, but then someone could really be trying to get another restuarant and they finally get it and in turn cancel at the one you really wanted. Just keep trying, and if you don't get it before your trip......try from your room every day and even the morning of the reservaton. Hey you never know!

Yes, I would definitely keep trying, people do cancel, maybe you will get lucky! And I would do this by not only trying via phone in the upcoming months but the day of, I would go directly to the restaurant and speak with the host/hostess. We got into Coral Reef that way awhile back, sometimes the actual restaurant employees can work better pixie dust! As for Nine Dragons, I have seen plenty of good reviews on this one, in the end you never know until you try. I hope you enjoy your meal, whichever one it is!

Ok, thanks everyone for the advice. I shall keep on trying. I know the cm's will be tired of me. But, I have to try. I really want to try Coral Reef. Thanks again, everyone!!:grouphug:

Keep trying...I called every day...for 3 weeks before I got BOMA. I was worth it though!:thumbsup2

Coral Reef was at the top of our want list, but we just made our reservations for our trip 2 weeks ago for June so all the dinner reservations were gone.
We are doing Lunch instead, the menue is very similar and I have heard lunch is more relaxing- then you can walk all that food off around the world showcase...

What time of day do you recommend calling? We wanted to eat at LTT for the MNSSHP and it's all booked up! CM said to try back.

Definately keep trying! Maybe do a late lunch instead, we did lunch there last year and it was very similar to the dinner menu. Good luck, it is definately worth it.

I usually find it easier to call in the morning or late at night...not too many people trying to call. Like everyone else, I too agree to keep on trying. When we went in 2005, I really wanted to get ressies for CRT breakfast, could not get the date that we wanted. My DH came home one night and decided to call and sure enough he was able to get the last seating for our party of 7 (had to have 2 tables next to each other), but we still got in.

You're gonna hate this, but I just called yesterday and got 5:40 ressies for Coral Reef for May 20 for five of us.

Persistance, and just being an absolute pest, can pay off. And sometimes you just get lucky.
