I'm ready to SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!

They are building a house behind us and today the workers have their radio BLARING!!!!!!! and it's country music, which I really detest. (No offense to those of you who like country, I just don't). I'm feeling so ANNOYED! It's SO loud. Too loud even in my house.

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I'll go shopping today.

Sorry to hear that. I like country music, but listening to it blaring over a radio would drive me nuts!

Isn't there a noise ordinance in your town? If so, call someone to take care of it. You shouldn't have to vacate your premises b/c someone's making too much noise.

They just turned it down! I can still hear it but it's more like background noise now. Now if they'd just leave. They don't work all that long anyway. I hope they finish this house soon! It seems like they bring in these NOISY trucks at the crack of dawn and no other time of day. UGH!

We have a long way to go though, only the foundation is in............

Perhaps you should ask the construction guys to contact the people that built your house and ask them how they got those trucks in and out of there without making any noise...

Hey the good news is that these guys are probably just the concrete workers. That means next you will get the build crew, finishing crew, plumbers, electricians, and roofers. So more than likely if you wait it out they will be moving on and you may get music you like. I LOVE Country music so don't understand what's wrong with it but hey you may love OPERA which I detest so to each his own and trust me you will probably run the gammit with the number of crews it takes to build a house. Also just an FYI they only work a few hours because there is only so much finishing work to concrete. It has to set up and dry. I have a friend who owns a concrete business doing slabs. I know a thing or to.

I know where you are coming from. I was 2 weeks from having DD#1, trying to sleep when all the sudden I was awoken at 7am by construction and a barking dog that they brought to the work site. I did get through it and was so glad when it was all over with.

Well shortly after my post they finished up for the day. And thanks reddixie for the fyi! They were the concrete guys. I peeked out dd's window and they poured the basement floor and garage today. Glad that's done.........
