I'm pretty sure I've lost it now...

I have officially gone overboard! I am SOOOO excited about our upcoming vacation that it is spilling into all aspects of my life. I'm the PTA president at our kids school and I have insisted that Teacher Appreciation week be Disney themed! Here is what we are doing so far:

Monday- DH & I are building a castle facade for the front of the school with a sign that says "Our teachers make our school the Happiest Place on Earth". We will have a red carpet leading into the teachers lounge, and all the luxuries of a palace, with food, decorations and pampering fit for princesses (and one prince!).

Tuesday- Ohana means family and our teachers are part of it!
Hawaiian themed decorations, music and goodies with a full luau spread at lunch (not sure if I'll don the coconut bra and grass skirt for entertainment!)

Wednesday- Teachers Wonderland (alice theme) We will have a tea party with themed decorations and food!

Thursday- Be Our Guests...You deserve it! Beauty and the Beast theme with a decadent dessert cart that will go room to room for the teachers

Friday- You are our Heros! Incredibles theme With a healthy Salad and potato Bar.


Anyone have any ideas to make the days better (I thought about just sending them all to Disneyworld but our budgets a little small for that !!)

Teacher here....your school sounds a lot like my school.
We have a fantastic PTO...they go way above & beyond for everything...now if only they could think up something like this.

(But last year...we were a little Disney themed...our school's talent show was all Disney acts....we had Disney trivia questions (the 5th grade student announcers on our morning wake up show would read off 2 Disney trivia questions each day for a week).

HEY...YOU COULD DO THAT...WHENEVER OUR PTO GIVES US A STAFF LUNCHEON...THEY ALWAYS HAVE DOOR PRIZES...

MAYBE YOU COULD DO DISNEY TRIVIA QUESTIONS....HAVE DOOR PRIZES???

Just got back from Walmart Neighborhood market (grocery store--do you have one?) and they had packaged cookies in the baked good section with the Beauty and the Beast theme--they could go on your goodie cart!! They may have had more themes, but I didn't have time to look.
