:( I called to get PS for LTT for Dec. 16th and they had no openings left. We wanted to have dinner there prior to MVMCP. Best they could do was tell me to call back at a later date to see if they had any cancellations.:( I asked if there were any other rest. with openings and he said I would need to wait until 90 days out to reserve at any of the others in the MK.

Also asked about Epcot Proc/dinner Package. He said they would not have that info until end of the month and to call back then. It sure would be nice if they had an 800 number to call.

What are my chances of getting in to LTT? The 16th is on a Tuesday. We already have our passes for the party.

We called the 2nd day that we were able to get PS at LTT for the 9th, also a Tuesday and had to take a later time than we wanted. I think the PS's filled up in a matter of days. I kind of doubt if many people would cancel once they have their tickets for the party but they might have held back some PS's so I would check a few days out to see. Your best bet might be to call at 90 days out for CP. Good luck!!!!!

hi, i am a little confused. if you need priority seating for ltt on 12/16 isn't it that you can make ps's 90 days out? that means that you need to call in september for december?

i am just trying to understand this priority seating arrangement stuff??

i went into the dis ps calculator and it said september for december.

maybe you still have a chance. they might open up more tables then.

please explain.

:Pinkbounc As I understood from someone else's post you could get PS at the LTT in conjunction with your MVMCP passes. That this did not fall under the 90 day guidelines. So I called and asked for the date we needed and was told it was booked for that date. I asked about cancellations or other restaurants. He said the other restaurants were under the 90 day guideline but I could check back to see if there were any cancellations for LTT. I will of course check back frequently up until we leave for our trip to see if there are any times open for that date. We only have two days for the Parks Tuesday the 16th & Wednesday the 17th. The MVMCP is on Tuesday & Thursday, so we got our passes for Tuesday and will do Epcot on Wednesday. I did not mean to confuse anyone. I hope this clears things up. This is our first time to the party and thought it would be fun to also do the character dinner prior to the party.

The OP wanted to book LTT on a night that they are having the Christmas Party. People have been able to make these PS for several months now. (also for the Halloween Party)
You can book PS for the other MK restaurants 90 days out.

Just because you could not get PS for that night does not mean you cannot eat there. You can always walk up and ask to be seated. You may have a wait, and it may be a long wait.

I was told by a Cm that only a certain percentage of seats are reserved for PS. I want to say 10%. So, if those 10% are booked, you will be told there is no available PS. BUT, the rest of the restaurant is wide open for walk-in. It is just based on a first-come-first-serve basis. So you will have to wait.

Here is an example, we decided last minute to go to CM, I called around 3PM to see what they had for PS that night. They had nothing before 9PM. So, at 6:00 we headed out to CM, walked in around 6:30PM, gave our name and number in party to the hostess and we were seated before 7:30. Sure the heck beat making a PS to eat at 9PM with 3 small kids.

So, I would try going to LTT right at 6PM, that is when the park re-opens for MVMCP, right? If you are one of the 1st ones in the door, you should get a seat fairly soon.

oh, now i understand. i didn't know that. good thing to know.

thanks.

zuzanne i hope you get a chance to get your ps's. pixie dust to you. good luck. :D

You might try again at the 90 day mark.

Some might have booked LTT, as a back-up, and plan to call for CP, or CRT at the 90 day mark.

I saw people who used that plan with the MNSSHP. I was able to get an earlier seating at LTT, because of a cancellation.

Good Luck:D

Could someone please explain this policy to me? I have tickets for MVMCP for Dec12th and I thought I had to make PSs 90-days out for California Grill.

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earseek: I'm not pouting anymore thanks to all of your good wishes and the sprinkeling of Pixie Dust. I decided to try and call one more time and I got the nicest young man named James. He had two openings at LTT for Tuesday, 12/16/03. He had 5:10 & 5:30 open. I took the 5:30 PM seating. So no more pouting for me, Mouse Party here we come. I just got of phone & wanted to post this right away in case someone else wanted to call to see if the 5:10 seating might still be there.

Color me Mickey Happy, this is the one dinner that my hubby really wanted to do.

Thanks again for all the good wishes & Pixie Dust, it worked.

Could someone please explain this policy to me? Does this mean I could call now for my dinner reservations?

You do have to make reservations for the California Grill 90 days out.

The LTT is the only restaurant that is available as an "add-on" to the MVMCP tickets. As others have posted, PS times at the LTT were available to MVMCP ticket holders right after the tickets went on sale. Most PS times for the dates of MVMCP are now booked. There may be more released at the 90 day mark.

LTT is a popular/attractive option for MVMCP guests because it enables them to stay in the MK between the time it closes to day guests and reopens for the party. Eating with the characters dressed in their Holiday finery is a wonderful way to start the evening! But dinner at the CG is always special!

Enjoy your trip!

Ahhh! Okay, that makes sense then. We will not be at MK before the party, so it wouldn't matter to us to get those reservations. Thank you SO much for explaining that to me!
