I'm paying someone to take down wallpaper

in the bathroom and stain our deck. He is charging $11 per hour and doing fine - do you think that is a cheap rate?

Can't comment on the rate since I live in the UK but I know that if it hadn't been for the help of some dear friends recently, our decorating would never have been finished.

Taking down wallpaper was never our problem. I took the bathroom wallpaper down almost *choke* six years ago...right before our very first trip to WDW (like we can even remember life before WDW!!). Last Friday we had the "new" (that I bought 6 years ago) wallpaper put up!! Looks lovely, and to think it used to be the ugliest bathroom on the planet!

You seem to be getting a good rate. To put the wallpaper up cost us $300...took all day. She has a great reputation and did a beautiful job, unlike my FIL who did it the first time 12 years ago.

I took our kitchen wallpaper down in Oct. It was a tedious and difficult job. Pay the $$ with a smile! Enjoy your new look!

Oh yes its worth whatever they want to charge!! I just took down wallpaper in my bathroom (we just moved in three weeks ago) and it was not that it is that hard to do but I ruined the walls!!!! Its hard not to ding them up! I say enjoy having a pro do the work!
