I'm past the snow freaking me out..

If I were you, I would make some calls to see if you can find a snow removal service. Hopefully we don't have another 3ft of snow!

My husband has a tractor and does help the neighbors. They are very lucky he spends all day digging them out for free.

That happened to our neighbors' deck. You have to shovel the snow off or sweep it off if you can. It will get too heavy and if it collapses, it will mess up the siding or worse.

I can't believe the forecast for more snow is being reported. I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry at this time. I think the only part of me not sore is my earlobes - maybe...

Yup....the street behind us sits up higher so they all have elevated decks. Most of them were up there shoveling off the snow yesterday. I hate that they sit and peer down at us during the summer...but I love having a patio that i don't need to worry about snow removal in the winter!

Also, if you have a flat roof anywhere you should remove the snow from there as well.
