no...because these dresses are just so lovely and great quality they should last w/ proper care that hopefully all the girls can wear them eventually

YES I would recommend her once she replenshies her stock. I really feel this was a poor series of events in her life and I just happen to be the buyer at the time. Her work is amazing and when you read all the feedback of previous buyers everyone raves!

I just couldn't afford the prices.


yes some of the stuff out there is pretty pricey, but some people sell some really decent items for a cost that matches.

I also think I missed replying on the "Be Our Guest" night. I love that you incorporated B&B!! This is my favorite movie! Naomi-Ruth looks like she was chowing down on that special cake!

is a practically PERFECT Day!


who could ask for better weather in the Chicagoland area in almost mid October than 80's.... On Sunday we celebrated our 40 days to Disney countdown w/ a Mary Poppins Day.

We did some banking:

sorted some change from our savings jar for our Pressed Penny tubes (and our State Quarter collection) Grandma was taking the jar to the bank for me so do you want to get on the betting pool?

Nathan thought he was to guess how much I saved beyond the jar for Disney $70.00 (now that would be nice if that was in the jar or if that was how much we needed )

Bekah over guessed as well at $52.00

Naomi-Ruth said $3.00

Rachel $5.25

Matt $14.00

and I said $18.26

so we'll see who was closer.

we also connected to our inner Bert and did some chalk drawings:

Plus the older kids put on a one man band concert for Matt and I. We were going to fly a kite, but not enough wind. and I guess you could say we extended the day to yesterday after a day off of school for all 4 kids resulted in a Tidy-up song for the basement

So I found these really cute DISigns by Natalie (I hope) and I copied them over, printed as wallet size on thick paper, then added to pastel cardstock, laminated, cut, hole punched and added the ribbon to hold it together

I made enough for our 10 days of dinning, plus a few extra’s. I found an old WDTC envelope from a previous trip and it hold them perfectly. The plan is to have him feel one out (hopefully at each place we eat) and then after we are home I will help him write out his our Dining Review on the Boards!

Nathan’s Autism tag for his pin lanyard

So I found the Donald design awhile back and asked if Marion could add the Autism awareness ribbon, on the back side is just some quick info about Nathan, where we are staying, and mine and Matt’s cell numbers. Plus a list of reminders for Nathan (quick social story reminders that we have used on previous trips)

Welcome Folder for Matt’s parents

This idea came about in a couple ways…first as I was google searching some images, I came across a DIS thread about this one Diser (sorry forgot to write down her name) planning her wedding at the World and how she made Welcome folders for her guests and wedding party. As well, DisMomAmy made a welcome folder of sorts for her recent traveling companion.

I included a master itinerary of the 5 days Matt’s parents will be us, our flight info, resort info for both POP and BLT, CS dining choices of place we may eat, a DDP “punch card” (DISign by ), a sheet full of DIS abbreviations so she knows BLT means Bay Lake Tower, daily itinerary plan sheets that break down the basic plans per day, custom journal pages and I will include maps/times guides (that Amy is sending me) plus a special prize:

A golden Date night ticket…once I again I found this on the boards and I added the Mickey ears w/ my Cricut. Now they know they are dinning by themselves already but I just thought this was extra cute and I know my in-laws will get a kick out of it. I plan to give them the folder before we leave.

Custom Autograph Books one for each child

Each book is basically the same concept using Natalie’s DISigns and I covered 3 x 5 chipboard books w/ cardstock and inked the edges. I added little sayings or quotes by/for the characters pictured. Each book has a different set of 10 characters.

Birthday Balloon signs for our door

These I made quite some time ago, utilizing the Mickey balloon DISign and adding the text on my computer, printed on cardstock, cut and laminated. Then a punched a hole and added the curling ribbon.

Stroller “plate” for Naomi-Ruth

(I have our last name listed on her so that is why it’s covered) I found this DISign by Marian and added the text myself on my computer, printed on cardstock, laminated and punched holes and added ribbon to tie on her stroller

I’m _____ today “pins” and AiW “pins

The Birthday age DISign is by Marion and I printed these again on cardstock, cut out w/ a circle cutter added cardboard to the back to put firm, using self laminating paper, cut out and just used packing tape to add a safety pin to the back.

The AiW pins are for Matt (Mad Hatter) and Nathan (cards) to wear on their ****s at our 1900 PF breakfast. I just googled the images and the text on my computer and created the same as the birthday ones

Rewards for the kids

So this wasn’t on my orginal list, but I found these DISigns on the boards and had saved them. So I just printed them out and added the little Mickey ears w/ my Cricut. I plan to laminate them too to keep them from getting wrecked. One is good for one pin and the other is good for $10 towards a purchase at MouseGear.

I hope this will help keep me from going souvenir crazy and keep better track of what we are buying each child. This is a whole other post…but wanted to include the “project” in this one…

I have the DISign by Marion already and the shirt and transfer paper just need to have Matt make it for me

Guidebooks/Journals for myself and the children

Ok that huge stack is the pages (I think I went a bit overboard w/ the pages DISigned by Natalie). I am working on adding names to the covers w/ letters cut from my Cricut, then the cover needs to be laminated and Matt will bind them for me at work.

Nathan’s Autism WDW guidebook

Everything is ready for this project too. I created custom pages using DISigns by Natalie and will add them to a small chipboard book. The pages have tabs so I need Matt to take the book apart and separate the tabs for me cause they are not lined up correctly. Then I can adhere the printed portions in the book.

Holiday Passport Books for girls and a WS Guide for Nathan

I have printed all the pages for these and need to cut them down to size and “bind together” I will probably laminate the covers and most likely just do a ribbon bind.

It is basically done but I have one last touch to add to it

Birthday Books for the girls….

This is the least prepped project and requires the most time…so I will still do them, but unsure if they will be done in advance of the trip.

DISmeet gifts

(you know who you are) now I can’t show this yet because that would spoil the fun…but it’s in progress of being finished I’ll have 3 goodie bags for 3 great families I can’t wait to meet! ***Please don’t worry it’s nothing to over the top or crazy expensive and I certaintly don’t expect anything in return…just some pictures and hugs

I HAVE to get everything done by the end of this month so that's just under 3weeks...I think I can do it!

the Disney Practically Perfect day...wasn't what we first envisioned but it worked out quite well...now if I just had the Mary Poppins magic to jump into my drawing

I am very glad nathan likes his lanyard tag. He is very self concious about people knowing, but at Disney he feels like a regular kid and doesn't mind. I think the tag will be a huge help and a tangible symbol to the occasional looker kwim Amy....
