I'm now a shareholder club member!!!!

Hi all

I just need to share some excitement with you. I finally got a confirmation saying that I'm a part of the shareholders club. I have had so many problems with getting the right papers from my bank. So I'm excited now.

I'm going to book a trip for me and DBF in Jan. He has never been before, so I want to introduce him to the place that means so much to me.

So now I just need to find out how to get my shareholder %'s

I just read in another thread that you now need 100 shares to enter the club. When did this start??? On the paper I filled out and sent to the shareholders club, it said 20 shares, and that what I got...

The 100 minimum shares rule is in effect from shareholders club applications made on or after 1st October this year.

100 shares to be a member came into effect on 1st October. If you have already received confirmation from Disney then you should be ok. It's only when your card expires in 2 years that you would need 100 shares to renew again.

I got the confirmation mail today, so I should be ok... I can't believe how lucky I have been. I didn't even know they raised the amount.

That is good news! No one got much notice, shareholders got an email a few days before the 1st, so there was a bit of a rush of people renewing!

I can't believethat they raised it so much. I would understand if they went from 20 to 30 or something like that... But 100??? Come on!
