WOW is all I have to say...

Recently I made a post asking guys for their opinions on Disneyland because my brother and Dad just didnt really "GET IT" in the means of why men would like Disneyland. My dad said he would come on the trip, but only to get away and my brother still didnt get it and said he was staying home cause he was sure it wouldnt appeal to him as it was geared towards little kids. But I kept telling him over and over again its for everyone and theres TONS of stuff he would enjoy.

So I went ahead and I ordered the free Disney Trip Planning video from the website and it came today, and so I played it tonight for my family tonight after dinner. My dad was literally glowing and said he couldnt wait it looked even better then he thought. I nearly hit the floor.... If that werent enough, my brother went straight to Travelocity found the flight and hotel package we got and booked it so he could come with us. He said I was definately right. It looked awesome.

I sat on the couch looking like this ......... :scared1: haha

Is this disney magic at its best? I would love to think so. But now im so excited because for the first time ever I get to go to Disneyland with my ENTIRE FAMILY.... Sorry I just had to share, im so excited I cant sleep.

Yes it's Disney Magic at it's best.

They put subliminal messages in the Planning video and you got the guys right at the right time. Right after a meal they had no chance to resist the message of they have to go and will enjoy themselves.:lmao:

The fact is that most are under the impression that DL/WDW is just for little kids when in fact all of Disney is made for Families and they make sure there is something for the entire family to do at all times.

You did a great job on starting the conversion of a few true Disney fans.:woohoo:

Now just make sure you have a good game plan so it feels effortlessly while touring the parks.

Disney Magic is alive and well I see! :cool1:

Awesome. Dont you love turning people especially family into True Disney Fanatics! Great job mystic!!!

That's awesome! (And really funny!) :rotfl2:

I'll be curious to read their reaction to the trip. :)

It is strange isn't it?! My dad won a trip to DW many years ago, he didn't want to go, he either took the trip or got nothing. So him and my mom went. They had the time of their life, it shocked my brother and I to learn that dear old dad went on every ride. Yes there is a magic about Disney.

Thats wonderful Mystic!! Definately have to do a TR and let us know what they thought.

That is great! My best friends son watches the dvd all the time. It will be his first trip this summer with us.

WHOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!

I just love "turning" people, too! :rotfl: :lmao:

xo Linda

Congrats on some new converts! ;)

Excellent news!
Have a wonderful trip - all of you:)

haha its getting even more amuzing.

My brother (who's 27yrs old) was online for over 2 hours last night checking out disneyland websites and find things he would like to do. He knocked on my bedroom door and went HEY THESE THINGS WOULD BE COOL! Then he named them off ....

Autopia, Space Tours, HM, Splash M, Space M, TOT, Soarin, Tom Sawyers Island, Mr. Toads wild ride (Cause he loves anything British), Pirates, BTMR, then hes like "Hey did you ever get to see Fantasmic cause that would be sweet.

I told him about the revamps on TSI and he was shocked but thought that would be really cool. I also kept telling him there are other things he would enjoy and not just the rides.... like come on??? Who wouldnt want to see the really cute Las Vegas Show Girls (and you cant tell me they arnt vegas girls) throwing pearls around the Little Mermaid parade float, or walking around the big candy store on Mainstreet, or watching Pirate Shows down in NOS, or going to Toon Town to walk around Mickey's & Minnie's House and sitting in their toon cars while bending over the passenger seat pretending to moon somoene, or putting his arm around a princess. Like come on what guy doesnt have that fantasy? ;)

So it was actually fun to see his reactions. He then ran to my dad and said Hey we can go check out the ESPN sports bar in DTD, and maybe we can go and see that Medieval Times Restaraunt.

Im laughing, a month ago he was dead set on NOT GOING cause its too KIDDISH now im in disbelief. Hes like a kid in a candy store, and this is a side i've never seen before. Im getting him to read disboards so hopefully he will start posting soon, and all you guys can tell him how silly he is. :woohoo:

And he probably doesn't even know about the Jedi Academy yet... ;)

:yay: I love that!
:yoda: The Jedi Academy rules! I love watching the kids get their "Force On" I have to live jedi dreams vicariously through them...:rolleyes1

I have to agree that going to Disney with your whole family definetly makes the trip. It created memories that you just dont get anywhere. Ive been with friends and aunts, but nothing beats having my whole family together.
