Amanda - I am lovin it!!! Were there any signs anywhere about visitors? Im wondering where we would park and if we'd be able to do any of the activities with Dan and his family. Also, did they say anything about visitors being able to purchase meals or swim in the pool there????? Sorry to but - if you dont know its totally fine!!!

No signs about visitors, but I want to say you can be there until like 9o'clock (pm)..meals will be a dollar, and you can participate in any and all activities while you're there : There's plenty of parking close to the House of Hearts!

Great update can't wait to see more of the village!

I loved the update! I came right home did my college work first (my motivation to get done was the Dis...Yippee!) and came on here to read! And as soon as I wanted to reply I get the message saying that the site would be down for 2 hours! I was bummed! But not now...LOL...The downgrade is funny, and totally understandable but I am sure it did shock the agent!

Piper actually started coughing on the plane, more on that here in a sec in a mini-update. Cindy/Sheila (the gps, more on that later) was awesome! Much better than the directions the village gave us, actually! If our layover had been any longer, the snow would have freaked me out more.

The agent didn't know what to think, for sure, lol. The Village, and all the volunteers, were just spectacular!

Ohh..I hate it when the site goes down like that! I think I may be one of the first people in car rental history to ask for a downgrade, but we were very happy with the cobalt except for one day!

As I mentioned to Jordan, Piper started coughing on the plane on the way to FL. I was hoping it was the canned air, but her cough continued once we were there. My next rationalization was that the pollen, etc in FL is different than what we have here, so maybe it was that. Well, here we are a week later, her cough has gotten worse, and we have an appt with our local family Dr at 11:45 today. I don't think it's gone into pneumonia, but I just don't know, so I want to get it checked out. Any positive thoughts/prayers will be appreciated, and I'll update after her appt, of course. It may be later tonight as she has homebound this evening, but I will def let you guys know what's going on.
