My kitty matches my Aussie yeah, I didn't think he was an Aussie either but I paid a lot of money got a DNA test just to prove me wrong.

I have a color scheme my old kitty was a diluted tortie.

She passed away 2 years ago on my birthday along with our previous dog.

We aren't 100% positive on their ages because they were rescues but kitty was at least 20 years old that we could confirm using microchip data and ruff ruff was 12 years old and died of a very aggressive cancer. This picture was taken just a few hours before they both passed away. I think they were holding on for each other.

I have found that the dog will guilt me and annoy me while trying to eat. However eating around cats, I have developed NHL goalie skills trying to keep them away from my plate.

Aussie or Border Collie?

Surpringly, neither. We did a DNA test on her and she's got a mix predominantly of English setter, lab, Spaniel and then Chow Chow, Staffordshire Terrier, pit bull, beagle, and the funniest one: Chihuahua.

We ended up getting a DNA test on my Aussie because he weighs 77 pounds and cannot catch anything. It came back 80.1% aussie, 10.5% German Shepherd, and 9.4% pitbull so while he isn't 100% Aussie he's pretty much an Aussie.

Many years ago when these DNA test first came out we had a Chihuahua and a great Dane, both registered with a good pedigree so we decided to test the validity of either the pedigree or the DNA test.

The one for the Chihuahua was pretty spot on but the great Dane was all over the board.
