I'm totally not happy at the moment.....
I'm in pain
Sorry long story.
Let me start by saying that i use a translation machine from the web for a few words i don't know and i hope that the translater does the job and that you all understand what i'm talking about.
2 weeks ago on Tuesday evening (September 28th) i watched television and when i got up i walked 3 steps and the the pain hit me like a ton of bricks...
I had aches that went from my groin to my knee and it was very difficult to walk.
I thought that maybe i just has been sitting in a wrong way so i had muscular pain or whatever.
It was very hard to get upstairs to get to my bed but i thought that it would be over after a good night of sleep.
But boy oh boy what was i wrong about that.....
During the night i woke up several times because of the pain and when i woke up the next morning the pain was even worse.
And the thing that worried me the most was when i woke up in the morning the aches still went from my groin to my knee but i also had tinglings from my calf all the way to my toes.
And i know that having tinglings aren't a good sign (normally it has something to do with a nerve being stuck somewhere).
So i called the doctor for an appointment and i could come straight away.
So 10 minutes later i was at the doctors office and he heard my story and did some tests, he checked the strength between both legs and the right side was less then the left side. He did some other tests and then he couldn't find what could be wrong....
But then he had a brainwave and he tested my back.
I didn't have any back problems, my back don't hurt but when he checked my back there was one point that does hurt when he runs the test.
So he thinks that i have a Hernia.
I never ever knew that you can have a Hernia without having back pains but now i know it is possible.
He send me to the hospital for an x-ray of my back and also an echo of my groin.
Both were good and there was nothing wrong.
Because both where okay so he send me to a neurologist to find out more.
I got some medication and that helped but not enough so a few days later i got morphine to take.
That sure helps but with the morphine i sometimes feel a bit weird.
Because i'm on morphine right know i'm not allowed to work.
So i'm already 2 weeks at home and i can't do very much.
I can walk tiny bits and when we go out i need a wheelchair.
The appointment with the neurologist takes quite a while.
I called the nearest hospital on Wednesday September 30th and the first available appointment they could give me was for November 8th
So i called all the hospitals in the surrounding area and know i found a place where i can go to on October 20th. It's a bit further away but that i'm willing to take because it's more then 2 weeks earlier then Nov 8...
And then after that i have to wait for an MRI so they can proof that i have a Hernia.
Sometimes i really hate this kind of stuff.
