I'm new too!

Hello everyone! I'm trying to convince dh to go to Disney, so I'm here trying to learn all I can about Disney so I can pass all the info on to him. I really want to go in December, but we'll see. I have lots of questions, but I'll post them on their appropriate boards. Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you all, and can't wait to learn all I can about Disneyworld!

Hello all and welcome!
chewysmom, my wife (DW) dragged me - she had been to DW 5 times before then - to WDW when I was 35 years-old. I kicked and screemed "I don't want to go, that place is only for kids." I would be wqilling to bet she regrets taking me. I have now been to WDW 9 times (I am 46 now), on a 7 day disney cruise, and to Disneyland by myself. It is now me that says can we go to WDW again - with my 8-year-old DD and 5-year-old DS in the background begging - this year on vacation. So, tell your husband to give it a shot and if he has an inner child this is the place that that child will learn how to run free. Good luck!

OK I am going to assume that all those messages I just read, were for me! If that is the case...WOW!!! I hope I can do this! I didn't even hardly know how to respond!!! I am figuring it out as I go I guess. If anyone has been on the Disney Cruise out of Florida, please let me know what you thought and pass on any tidbits of information as I am way too excited and you can only add to the fun!!!

You've found the best place to get help with trip planning.

My husband and I never wanted to go to WDW. I turned down trips when I was in my teens and we both laughed at people who would honeymoon there.

We did that one trip of a lifetime back in 1996 with our boys... ...we've been back almost every year since then.

OK, I am getting some of this "chat" stufffigured out. I really like the little count down animations. I went to tickerfactory.com and picked out a little ditty but don't know how or where to attach it. Can anyone help? Thanks! Once I get this stuff down I can chat cruise (Feb 25, 2005 Western 7-Day).
