Hey I am going on my senior trip to Disney World this month and since most of you guys have been there what advice can you give me? I went in 3rd grade so I don't remember it too much. What are the best rides, restaurants, and stuff to do with friends? I'll be traveling w/ most of my senior class and were staying at the all star hotel. ne of you know ne thing about it (how many beds/room, how's the pool, etc.). also i heard theres a new park animal kingdom and ive never been there- is it worth visiting if we only have 4 days? I'm so excited about my trip thanks for your help!!!:earboy2:

I loved the All Star Resort... the food court is the best there! The best restaurants (in my opinion) are The Rainforest Cafe (Animal Kingdom), and Planet Hollywood (Downtown Disney)... The best rides are Splash Mountain (Magic Kingdom), Tower of Terror (MGM), Test Track (EPCOT), and Dinosour (Animal Kingdom). Animal Kingdom is DEFINATELY worth going to... but make sure you go to the Magic Kingdom! Have a great time and be sure to tell us all about it when you come back :cool1:

Welcome to the boards! I have also stayed at the All Stars before- we stayed at AS Sports last year, and there were 2 beds per room. The food court is pretty good. I'd recommend the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater and the 50s Prime Time Cafe restaurants (both at MGM)- they both have great theming and the food is good too. I second all the rides that Tink3rb3ll mentioned, but will add Thunder and Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise, and Pirates of the Caribbean (Magic Kingdom), and Kilamanjaro Safaris (Animal Kingdom). I'd definitely check out the Animal Kingdom, especially if you've never been there before. I personally love it there. I hope this helps a little! Have a great trip. :D

Hey, Welcome to DIS! I am going again in July (i know the crowds will be murder...) but have a great time. And make sure you ride Tower of Terror (MGM) and go on the Kilamanjaro safari. It is soo cool. You will love it. Have a great time and tell us all about it! :earseek: :earseek:

Hey, welcome to the dis! You will have such a great time in disney....especially since it's january, so no crowds!

For rides, I'd recommend most of the ones already mentioned. In Magic Kingdom: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Jungle Cruise. In Epcot: Test Track and Mission Space. In MGM: Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller Coaster. In Animal Kingdom: Dinosaur, Kiliminjaro Safaris, and Kali River Rapids (you WILL get soaked on that last one!)

As for restaurants, I'd recommend the Rainforest Cafe (Downtown Disney and Animal Kingdom), Rose and Crown Pub (at the United Kingdom in World Showcase at Epcot), and Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater (MGM). All of the resorts at disney have great restaurants too. And I'd definitely recommend any of disney's buffets. But sit-down dinners such as the aforementioned can be pricey, so I'd suggest doing mostly fast food.....which is also really good. Some of the places I love are Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe (Magic Kingdom), Electric Umbrella (Epcot), Sunshine Season Food Fair (inside the Land at Epcot), the fish n chips stand in the United Kingdom at Epcot, ABC Commissary (MGM), Sunset Ranch Market (MGM), and *phew* Tusker House (Animal Kingdom). There are so many delicious choices at all of these places! Oh, I almost forgot, the main street bakery in Magic Kingdom and bakery in france in Epcot have awesome desserts/pastries/breakfast items.

And if you're wondering what to do with friends, don't worry.....anything is fun in disney with friends. :D

Can't help you with the all star question, i've never stayed there. but i've heard good things about it.

I personally am not a big fan of Animal Kingdom. I'm usually done after the 3 big rides, especially since you can see most of the animals on the safari. It usually only takes me the morning to finish what I want to do there. If you're really into seeing animals, you'll definitely want to spend the day here, but otherwise just come for a few hours or skip it altogether. I will say the few hours there are worth it, however.

Hope this helped, have a great time!

Here's something shorter to read.

-Mission: Space (Epcot) is my favorite ride and I definitely recommend that.
-All of the countries in Epcot have great food.
-Make sure to check out all parades and firework shows throughout Disney. You won't want to miss them.
