I've noticed that the Good Neighbor Hotels use some sort of shuttle service called ART to and from the parks. How much is the 'nominal fee?' If you stay 5 days, and you go back and forth to the parks a few times each day, this could add up, right?

Thanks,
Kerri

If I remember right, you pay per day. I can't remember how much it costs, though.

<font color=navy>I believe it's $3/day per adult (10+) & kids 9 & under are free. You can also get a length of stay ART pass for $12/adult, up to 4 adults, and then it is a family pass.

So, let's say you're a family of 5, all 10+, getting a family pass at $48 for 3 days or more would be a good idea.

So, then you'd want to look at the hotels w/in walking distance, especially the ones that offer continental breakfast and if they're $50 more (or near that), it would be worth staying across the street for the convenience, etc. etc.

When booking a nearby hotel:

If they offer a shuttle at all, its not very near the parks.
Of course, "near" is relative when comparing to WDW.

The very closest hotels do not offer a shuttle at all.

I don't think that's always the case. The Candy Cane Inn offers a shuttle and it's close to the parks.

yes, the Candy Cane is practically on property, but pretty far from the actual entrance of the parks.

All the DLR neighbor hotels seem close by WDW standards. :D
As I plan my first trip to WDW, I'm overwhelmed at how far away the hotels are!!!

:sunny: I need a quick trip to Disneyland!!:sunny:
