Day 29 with the FIL here, and shuttling daily to/from nursing home to see MIL, is just wearing thin....add to it: Thursday she gets released to our house.

So, I've decided.

You know, that is a whole other ball of wax. I am trying to lighten up the situation.

Every year something on them "breaks down" because they refuse to change their lifestyles. THen, they end up at our house, where we "fix 'em up" again.

So, now I am just going to move out. bye-bye!!

Yeah, that is stuff the nursing home is working on putting into place.

She is eligible for some help thru medicare....

You and your Dh really need to sit down, with or without his parents and make some decisions regarding this. I know this sounds cruel but if somebody depends on others to take care of them, they really need to adjust they lifestyle to accomadate that. Hate to sound morbid, but what if something happens to you, what then? Who is going to take care of them?
