I can't help it! Even though I already have POR booked this October, I keep checking out other resorts. And now I have found that the Swan is only $25 a night more than POR. What to do?

My dad is going with me this fall, and I have been selling him on POR. I think he would really enjoy it. All of the walking paths, piano man Bob, the whole feel of the place. But I know he would love the boardwalk area too.

The other issue is that I booked POR thru DU. So I would loose all of my dining ressies if I cancel, she cannot handle a room only reservation at the Swan, which is all I need. And I am thinking I probably cannot rebook Le Ceiller. Not to mention that for some strange reason I would feel guilty canceling.

What do you think? Is the Swan definately worth the $25 a night, plus having to redo my dining reservations?:confused3

If it was me I would book the Swan for sure! You'll be getting a deluxe hotel for only $25 a night more ~ and you just can't beat the Boardwalk area location :) Not that POR isn't nice, but it's not a deluxe.

As for losing your dining ADRs and having to redo ~ I wouldn't let that deter me from moving over to the Swan. If you do it now you should be able to duplicate many of them. If you can't get LeCellier, don't worry ~~ you'll be within walking distance to Epcot during Food & Wine Festival. You'll be able to dine around the world at all the booths :)

Just to make sure, you won't need the Magical express, since it does not run there?

The Swan is going to be a much nicer resort and location, and for only $25 more a night I'd do it. But I believe they don't do the DDP, so that is something to think about if you had bought that.

I am going to buck the crowd and say stay with POR! We have stayed there and we really love it. You also have all the ADRs that you wanted. If you change, you say that you are going to loose them. Are you going to be able to get the same times, days, etc? Your Dad is going with you and you say that you have been telling him about POR and trying to convince him that it is the place to stay. I think he will like it too. Yes, the Swan is considered deluxe but these reasons would make me re-think the change. JMO
