Connections is a discount service that can be used to order a variety of different tickets, gift cards, and vouchers. The web site is
www.connections123.com. There is a membership fee involved - normally $79.95, but there are some places to sign up for $69.95 (we called the 800 number and told them we heard of the service through our Citibank CC and we paid $69.95). They also offer a 30 trial membership for $1.
We have had the service for over a year without problem. Others have experienced problems with this company, especially when trying to cancel the trial membership. I think it is a great service.
You will see the Disney meal vouchers referenced often here. You can order serveral different types of WDW meal vouchers. Quick and Casual Lunch or Dinner - good at most counter service restaurants, Breakfast Feature vouchers, or Vacation Kingdom Lunch vouchers. These vouchers can save you a little or a lot depending on where you use them.
www.mousesavers.com does a good job of pointing out best use of these vouchers.
You can also order WDW park hoppers at a good discount. In addition, you can get discount tickets for most other theme parks (Universal, Sea World, Busch Gardens, etc.)
Non WDW/theme park benefits include gift cards (for places like ToysRUS, KBToys, bookstores, media stores, etc.) and restaurant vertificates (for places like Outback, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and others). These come in $10 or $25 increments and are charged to your CC when you order. At the end of each month you get a 20% rebate credited to your CC for all items you ordered. These items work like cash at the establishments so they really represent a 20% savings over what you would have otherwise paid. You can also buy discounted movie theatre tickets. The biggest thing is ordering the certificates and tickets to have on hand when you need them. However, they are shipped very quickly depending on the size of the order. We get gift cards and restaurant certificates all the time and it saves us a lot of money.
