I'm looking for a reservation dec 8 - 13 (5 nights)

Hi,

I am a new DVC member and just reveived my member card last week. I'm looking for a studio checking in date dec 8th and checking out dec 13th for a total length of stay of 5 nights.

I called MS for a studio for these dates but nothing is available. I was able to book one at OKW for the following week but since I drive from Quebec, Canada I want to be there for 2 weeks.

Anyone has a reservation which they won't use and would accept to transfer it to me ? I will accept a studio at any of the following : OKW, BWV, BCV, VWL.

I don't want to rent points. I just need a reservation.

Are you on the waiting lists? I have a BCV studio reserved for that time period that I will probably end up cancelling- (I was hoping to get a 2 bdrm at VWL instead of my 1 bdrm ressie there plus the studio over at BCV---but now the inlaws are thinking that they would rather stay at WL (cash) instead). I have been on the waiting list for VWL since the 10 month point, and I'm assuming that others have been on the waiting lists for probably as long. I've talked to other members who seem convinced that alot of the waitlists come thru as you get closer to the 30 day out point-- at least that is what I'm hoping for. So I would definitely recommend getting on the wait lists for all of the studios and hoping for the best.....Jill
