Just a day trip with my sis. I'll take pics and answer Q's when I get back. 77 degrees in Anaheim today; should be great!! :)

Hey Guys! I'm back and it was awesome. Super not crowded and wonderful weather. Any questions....let me know.

Matterhorn was scheduled to be down all day, but it seems like they opened it sometime in the afternoon. Casey Jr was closed for part of the day; not sure why. Monorail didn't seem to be running normally either. Other than that, everything seemed as scheduled and normal.

Did you notice if they had installed the new monorails yet? They were supposed to be up and running by now... We are heading there Sat AM.

No the new ones I believe were sent back to Canada to have the kinks worked out. The old one was still running. I only saw in once the entire day. And I was looking a lot!

the Monorail situation is explained in the thread titled: Al Lutz Update today.

Did you have to wait in line long for anything? How long was your wait for most rides? (i'm thinking of going the end of Feb. in '09)

Thanks in advance!!:)

I hope it's that way this weekend too!! I'm glad you had fun!!

The crowds were very manageable. At first on Main Street it didn't feel that way, but once they opened the park it was fun. The longest ride we waited for was Nemo. It was about 30 minutes (said 45 on the sign) at 5:00pm.
In the morning, we walked right on Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, about 10 minute wait for Indy, walked on Haunted Mansion and Pirates.
Over at DCA about 11:30 we waited about 5 mins for TOT, 15 minutes for Soarin, 20 minutes for Screamin, and walked on Monsters Inc.

Back at DL we waited 10 minutes for Railroad, then waited 15 for Thunder, watched Billy and the Hillbillies, walked on Buzz and then Nemo.

Fantasy Land was packed most of the day and the Matterhorn was opened in the afternoon and the lines were so very long.

It was HOT but not unbearable. I was in jeans and a t-shirt, and the evening did cool off, so be prepared for both warm/cold weather in one day. :)

sorry to burst your bubble but no weekend in DL is crowd free especially with the weather we are having right now:confused3

No bubble to burst, Thanks. I've been to DL quite a few weekends lately and I know what to expect. :lmao: I don't expect it to be dead but I would like it be manageable....my expectations aren't that high! :rotfl:

Let's try again, I'm hoping it's more like the last weekend I was there.....the end of Jan....instead of being like the middle of July. Better? :confused3 ;)
