I'm just not meant to leave today UPDATE: I left!

I was at my parent's house this weekend. I was planning on heading back to my apartment 3 hours ago. I bought food, loaded up my car with clean laundry, and get on the highway. I only went one exit in half an hour, and the exit's are about a half a mile apart. So I said there is no way I can deal with this traffic, so I got off and came back. Went out for lunch with my parents, and again, I just tried to leave. Same thing, highway was a mess, I didn't even bother getting on, I just turned around and went back. I've tried twice now to leave, and I just can't so I'm taking it as a sign to stay home today. I'll go back tomorrow morning.

What a nuisance! It's awful to sit in traffic without moving. You are wise to go early tomorrow. Whereabouts is this traffic?

If anybody cares, I finally made it back today! Left around 10 am, absolutely no traffic, made it in just under an hour. Ah lovely.
