I need to go back! AGH! I was just there for two weeks in October and I need a fix all ready! I'm watching a holiday special about WDW and it's hitting me hard.

Deep breath... in and out...

DH wants to "skip a year" and I just smile and nod because I know he'll need a fix too, but my habit is worse than his and I'm ready to go back now.

I just had to vent and get that out.

I soooooo know what you are going through, our whole family is this year. We spent last Christmas there and, frankly, I think we will end up making it a tradition beofre it's all said and done.

My DH is skipping a year too. I just shrug and say, "Just cuz you're skipping a year doesn't mean I have to." So I've got two solo trips planned next year. I enjoy going solo once a year, but I do kind of wish he'd want to go. But I've found that having me come back all excited about how much fun I had has always made him more anxious to go back. So, come to think of it, maybe that second trip won't end up solo.

I so get what you are saying. Over 200 days until our next DVC adventure! In our case, I am a little more addicted than DW. But neither of us will skip a year! It is tough when we can only go once.

I can relate. We were there in Oct and I so miss not being there in Dec. Dont get me wrong, the Oct trip was great, no complaints. But Dec is just extra special. And I am having major withdrawal

We were there at Halloween time and are going back in 14 Days!

OMG we are all so excited to be going back again and so soon!

Not sure at the time in our life, that we could skip a year between trips to WDW.

We already have a trip planned for AKV in April, VB in May, AKV at Halloween and SSR in Dec of 2008!

We still have some points left over and I may start trying to talk the wife into a July 4th mini-trip!

I totally know how you feel. I went at the end of August and originally did not plan on going back until next August to WDW and DCL. Since buying DVC, I am going for 5 nights in February, 2 weeks in August and another next December. That should tide me over for awhile. Yes, my family thinks that I am nuts, but my son and I have so much fun going!

We got back in September and booked Vero Beach the next morning. we both agreed no trips planned till 2009. Not sure if this will hold true, we get to Vero in 2 1/2 weeks.

Me too! Me too! We haven't been to DVC since October. I just got back from an offsite stay yesterday, and it only made it worse! How will we make it until February?? Deep breaths! One day at a time!

Maybe we need a support group. (I think a DVC 12-step program wouldn't work; you'd have to give it up forever!)

How many points would I need to live in a grand villa all year??

I have all the symptoms as well. We just got back several weeks ago from a 10 day trip and I could go back tomorrow. My problem is my wife feels we should skip 08 (since we already borrowed points) and save them for a big trip we are planning in 09 with friends I really dont think I can hold out that long

It will be a long 08 if I cant get some minds changed around here
