Long distance relationships are the hardest to keep...especially if you can't see or be with the person for a while.
People generally don't know if they are in love until after a year of knowing that person...that is on average. Some less and some longer.
People can hold very strong likeness for each other, but you can hardly call it love if you never met the person. If all it takes is a single computer click to call it love...what the hell is this world coming to?
People can claim they "love" someone and be right, and sometimes they are wrong. But nonetheless people can say they very strongly like a person...most cases for online relationships until meeting the other person.
It is more common for a teen to say he/she is in love when that person is actually feeling the strong tingles of infatuation.
Infatuation includes the following symptoms:
Constant writing of the other's name.
Day dreaming about what it will be like the day you two meet.
Exchanging words of almost "poetic" feeling to each other over the phone or online.
There are more, but those are a few. There is a VERY fine line between Love and Infatuation and you guys can call it whatever you want, but I don't believe two people can truly love each other if they never even met. I'm sorry, call me old fashioned but that is what I believe. People who talk across the internet and then call it love from there are more than likely only experiencing strong *dare I say it again* infatuation haha. I don't mean to sound mean...but I think love is a sacred thing...yet people seem to be throwing that word around left and right like it means nothing.
This is just my $.2 though.
Haha, I don't know how I should take that lol...Dragonlord11_7 said:First... sorry for butting in. I DEFINITELY FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE!
