I'm sitting in our room at PO Riverside waiting for the kids to go to sleep and I couldn't resist posting. I'm so excited to finally be here. We had a little bit of a rough start yesterday but had a great day today at Epcot and we're ready for two days at the Magic Kingdom.

The weather today was wonderful and the crowds were light, even though it's EMH day at Epcot. We didn't do everything I had planned, but we did several things multiple times that the kids liked so I didn't mind.

I read several times people recommending a day to spend at the resort and now I know why. It's beautiful here and there's so much to do. We were able to fit in a two-seater bike ride while waiting for our room to be ready and had a blast.

I'll write a detailed trip report when I get home.

All of you helped me so much in planning this vacation - thank you!!!

Just returned for POR this morning and I must say that this resort is Fabulous!!!
well worth the $$$$
I miss it already!! getting ready for a snowstorm here

Well, we're home now. We had such a great time I'm already working on our next trip. I'm going to try a trip report - my first!

After waking up this morning with 4 inches of snow and more falling, it was like a warm fuzzy to hear you mention POR and WDW. Our family will be their in June. Thanks for reminding me that we picked a great resort! Which building are you in?

We stayed in bldg 27 on the second floor (2740). We loved it. It was a very quiet location because it's on the inside of the resort. Without paying any extra we had a lovely courtyard outside our room. It was a very quick walk to the main stop - less than 5 minutes. I had asked for bldg 14 (same as probably everyone else there) but loved 27. You can practically see 14 from our bldg - that's how close it is. I loved the resort as a whole. I wish I had planned more time just to explore and play there. Next time we'll have a day to sleep in, rent bikes or boats, etc. before going into the park late afternoon.
