I knew a large group of my friends would be going to Disney World at my 180 day, but I didn't know who, or how many, or when. I made an ADR for 10 people at 'ohana just in case these people actually showed up.

Well they ARE showing up, and it turns out that i need an ADR for 13, not ten. I have been trying on the website and calling every day. No luck. I understand... it is a popular place.

My DH and I are prepared to walk away from the reservation, however we would rather not. There would still be 11 people, and a reservation for only 10...

Has anyone had luck in getting people added to a reservation at the podium? Has anyone been able to walk up to the podium? Does anyone have any tips for me?

I think my current plan is to keep trying with the ADR system. If that does not work I will show up very early and try to scavenge from no shows?

Nothing you can do except show up and hope they can seat the extra 3 people. However, if they can't, you need to have an alternative - do 10 of you go and another 3 go elsewhere, or do you all go elsewhere?

Definitely keep trying to get another reservation. Or look for a reservation for 3 or 4 at about the same time as your reservation for 10. 'Ohana is so popular that you will probably have a harder time finding those.

Doesn't have anything to do with whether they can add a table - of course if they can't they can't - but if the restaurant is full to capacity for fire codes they won't be able to let anyone else in.

It depends on what time your current ressie is for. If it's right at opening, then it's probably not a problem. If it's right smack in the middle of dinner service, then I'm going to say it's probably not going to happen.

This happened to us at Chef Mickey's a few years back. We had a ressie for 13 for DS 5th birthday, and ended up with 16. They were super nice and were able to add the 3 with no problem.

Good Luck!
