I'm Growing Fur!!

My 4 year old DD just walked up to me lifted her arm up and said,"Look mommy, I'm growing fur!" while pointing to her armpit.
Then she walks away saying to herself,"I have no more skin....I think"
I just had to share this.

I don't think she will be as excited about armpit hair when puberty hits.

That is too funny and too cute!

When I was younger -- not quite as young as your DD, but only a couple years older -- I pulled up my pant leg, pointed, and told my mom that my legs were furry. I have very thick, dark brown hair, so I guess maybe it was just more noticeable than some kids'.

That's cute.

DS has had fur since he arrived. This light lovely blondey-orange fur. It went away for awhile once he was around 2, but it's back now. It glints in the sun and gives him a glow. I know that sounds weird, but it's actually quite nice.

I hope that when he grows up, our country will be over the need to have everyone hairless, and he can have his lovely reddish hair instead of needing to wax like so many men are doing now (and I feel this way about girls/women too).

that's if he keeps it into puberty. He's quarter-Korean, and DH is nearly hairless (he has 5 chest hairs, LOL), so if he takes more after hubby it won't be an issue. But if he takes after furry Irish me...

When my oldest was about 3yo I found that she had taken a blue marker and had drawn hair onto various parts of her body. I couldn't help but laugh as I filled the bathtub with soapy water.
