I'm going to WDW

Even though we just went this Spring break I felt that my daughter and I deserved to go again! Long story short, I was living with and engaged to a man I thought was the love of my life but he got mean so we left him.

I was able to book in time to get the free dining plan! So, this is a bittersweet time. But, it's for the best and my daughter and I are going to have the time of our life! We're going 8 days!

We have 4 weeks to go!

Bless you. I, too, went through an ugly divorce and my sister (bless HER) packed me up and took me to WDW for 10 days. It was heaven! ...and a fabulous healing place!

Go and don't look back. Never question your first instincts and return to something that will itself turn bad again...eventually.
You made the right decision twice- disney was good too.
Have the greatest time and enjoy your daughters company ~ she'll be grown before you know it and you've just taught her a very important life lesson by not staying.

Good for you, Mom!! I remember after leaving my Ex, when my daughter was only 2, and doubting myself and my choices. Looking back now, of course it was the right decision, as you will find also, in time. You are the number one role model for your daughter and always will be. When I was getting a divorce my ex told my girls they would never get to do anything again in their life because of their mommy leaving him. He wasn't the nicest of people.
So...... I took my share of his 401K, that he told the lawyers he didn't have, (long story) and I took my 2 beautiful dd's to Disney World along with my mom and dad. My dad died not too long after that trip in a car accident and I have never seen him smile as much as he did at Disney! So go for it.

Enjoy yourself and the time you have with your daughter. Thank you for getting your girl out of that situation and maybe helping her to realize what kind of guy to avoid when she grows up. May you have a magical time.
