I'm going to see my friends on Broadway sat. night!!!

YAY!!! Dh and I have arranged for my mom to stay over night with the kids sat. so that we can go see Movin Out in which 2 of my friends have the leads!!! I'm so excited! we are going to stay at the Edison Hotel for the night as well. I'm nervous because this is only the 2nd time since we have had kids that we have been away without them!! Oh well, I know it will be great and we need it!
So we are thinking about going to the village for lunch and then who knows what else until show time!! After the show we are going out for drinks with my friends-oh boy I know Sunday is going to be rough! LOL so I know we will be taking the train into Grand central and then what line is it that goes to the Times Square area?
any suggestions would be wonderful!

I generally just walk from GCT to the theator. If you want to take the subway, just look for the times square shuttle. It only goes between GCT & Times Square, can't get lost!

My fav Italian is Tony's (search under Italian). It's just a block or two from Toys R Us in times square. The homemade Sangria is to *die* for!

My daughters dance choreographer is also in the play (he does the dances for the travel comp teams at the studio)...not sure if he is one of the leads though. For a casual rest. we love the Stage Deli. Food is great and you get alot. I love the chicken caesar wrap. Have a great time in NY.
