I'm going to do it!

Right! I thought there was somewhere online that maybbeeeee would tell ya! Ok I was hoping cause I don't really want to phone just incase I get the hard sell!!:rotfl:

But the way you wrote that its like you could get 2 holidays in for the upgrade eh?

Well i guess with the extra 300 i could afford another holiday, i just wouldnt be able to afford the extra spending money.

When i upgraded to the SL they was no hard sell involved just a cheery CM who was just pleased i was handing over more money :rotfl:

Mind thought its cheap in Jan so if you really want to do it, its better financially to do it now???

Booking for 07 the lass I got on the phone kept telling me since I had already been in Santa Fe for 06 an upgrade was the only way to go! I told her I wanted to book the Santa Fe and she asked me why I wanted that and the only thing I could think of was the beds were comfy!:rotfl: She assured me the mattresses were the exact same and if I didn't believe her I had to rip off the label and carry it around all the hotels to check!!:rotfl: But I had to do it on the quiet!!:rotfl: She was really funny and at the end she asked me to grade the phone call so I gave her top marks and she said it was just as well as her finger was hovering over the delete button with my hols details!

Although she was great craic I was abit scared!:rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl: I will prob book for the end of January in 2010 for my Birthday again. May even do the DLH again :lmao:

Keeping my fingers crossed that this works out for you - I'm hoping to go back again next Summer - not sure on the hotel yet but I'd love to do 10 days again.

I would love to do 10 days or so over the Summer period, but i bet its very expensive.

As much as I would love to stay in the disneyland hotel, I could never justify the prices, another person I was reading about on here cant remember the name was booking for 2 adults and a child I think and it only came to around £650-£700, but for a single parent with a child who would be free anyways over £500 seems way to steep.

I would much rather have the extra spending £££££'s

Good thing its not my money paying for the upgrade :rotfl:

I wouldnt do it even if it wasnt my money, although I would happily take their money and spend it on DLP merchandise, my daughter would happily spend a good £100 or so on pins.

I guess thats your opinion, but this will be the only time ill be able to afford to stay there. I also dont think £500 is alot to stay there as if i was to go at christmas and stay in the cheyenne for the same amount of days its over £500.

If my cousin wasn't such a wimp with cold I would have booked us in for the DLH in January and then split the costs, it probably would have worked out about the same as our October trip.

Yeah you have to ring, and bascially you pay the difference for the upgrade, eg- DLH is 576 and SL is 264 so if i had paid the 264 for the SL i then just pay the extra 300+.
Oich, is that really how much extra DLH is?

I've on purposely not looked at any of the other hotel prices!

Yeah seems alot when you look at it like that and thats in low season, I dont think I'll ever end up stay at DLH as the option of extra nights for the same money would always win out.

Yeah its £576 for 3 nights and 4 days, which from my point of view is a bargain :goodvibes

Every other time ive looked at the price for diff times it goes past the 1k mark:eek:

I've never done a holdai for less than £1k though...but normally I get a week or two!

lol i wouldnt pay 1k for a holiday. if i was to go spain for a week it cost me about £800 and there is no way i would pay that. Id rather go DLP.

Haha, thats why you go to DLP all the time then. I couldn't spend more than 1k on DLP before spending money.

Would much rather add a bit extra to it and go to Dubai or LA/Vegas. I need chill holidays too as my job is so stressful this time of year, so I always need at least a week in my parents place in La Gomera. Which is worth a lot more to my soul than the travelling to get there, which always ends up loads as its so remote...

I would love to go for a relaxing holiday but at the age Kyra is at that wont happen :lmao: But i am really looking forward to 10 days next year in the South of France with my parents, wont cost me more than £300 and i wont need much spending money either.

Though i know when i lay on the bed at the DLH at night i bet all my stresses and worries will disapeer :) That is worth £500 itself.

We actually got a good deal when we booked last November (even the CM on the phone said so) - I'm also a single parent (my ex doesn't contribute anything) but fortunately my two girls are working full time so I only have to pay for myself and my son. 10 days this time was just perfect as the parks were so busy I don't think we'd have got half of what we wanted to do otherwise.
