Just got off the phone with MS and booked a trip to Aulani for next April. We got a 1BR ocean view and will be booking our air travel with points. We've been saving our AA points for a while so we can fly first class. That is the only way my DH said he would go. I am sooo excited:banana::banana::banana:

Thanks for letting me share :goodvibes

:thumbsup2

Are you just staying at Aulani?

If you've never been to Hawaii, flying over to another island is a great way to experience the natural beauty of the islands. Each island has its own special trait, but spending a day or so on a different island is a great way to go.

Sounds like a great vacation coming your way.:cool1: I wish I had points with AA to off set the cost from Chicago.:worship: Guess we will have to wait for the prices of fuel to drop.:rotfl2:

Congratulations!

We'll be trying in the morning to get a 1BR in Feb or March (I missed the call in today by 10min). Got my fingers crossed! :goodvibes

:yay::woohoo: How exciting! I'm gonna get there someday! For now I'll live vicariously through you and the other DVCers on the board! Enjoy! :goodvibes

I'm not sure if we will get to any other islands. My DH used to live there long, long ago so we will be hitting up some of his old haunts.

Congrats!:cool1:

We've been booked for Dec for quite some time, and just today we booked another week in April to celebrate our Anniversary!

Congratulations!

I admit that after reading about the resort in Disney Files, I mentioned to DH that I really would like to go, right after we retire in 2013. He agreed that would be nice, so it just may happen!:goodvibes We took an American Hawaii cruise in 1992 and spent a week on land there besides, so I felt more like "been there, done that!" I now think that's the wrong attitide!:goodvibes

I understand your excitement as I can't wait to see the resort on our Jan 2012 trip. I was laughing Friday as my sister called me at work to see how much it's going to cost her to take her family sometime as she wants to go after watching all the media stuff on the opening.

Does anybody know if we can use our Disney Reward Dollars from the Disney Visa there?
