I have been unable to find work since I graduated college in 2002. the sunday before thanksgiving i recieved a call from a company I had applied to a few months ago. i called them on monday and an interview was set up for the following monday. on tuesday they left a wonderful message on my machine about how wonderful the interview went. i called back and an interview was set up with the director of the division for friday. that interview went wonderful and they SAID they were meeting with one more candidate on monday and would make a decision monday night. about an hour later, they called and asked me to come in to meet the president of the company on monday evening!

i am so nervous and excited and anxious! i really want this job, the company is awesome and the people were so nice!

how will i make it to this time tomorrow night?

How exciting!! Good luck to you! It sounds good. I know how hard it is to keep applying & going to interviews. :(

Sending lots of pixie dust your way!!!!

Breathe in...breathe out...breath in...breathe out.... :)
Sending good wishes and hopes that this works out for you...let us know!

This is what I said under advice for exam preparation; hope it's useful!

Well...

1) Drink a lot of water before hand and visit a restroom straight before - this perks the brain up quite a bit, actually making it swell gently. Dehydration can badly damage your chances at a top performance, but so can needing to go to the restroom halfway through

2) Eat some dark chocolate just before - chocolate has anti-depressant and anti-anxiety qualities and also provides you with some quick sugar to keep your attention going for those few extra minutes

3) Take a long, hot bath (or a shower) before you go to the exam - the warmth helps you to relax by a considerable amount

4) If you can, get a massage on your shoulders and neck - this stimulates various cells that release chemicals in the brain, calming you down and actually elevating your mood

5) Above all, no late night!

That is AWESOME!!! You will do just fine! I know one thing I look for in my applicants is enthusiasm, you definitely have THAT! :)

Just be yourself and you should do fine!

Things sound VERY promising! :cool1: For now, just relax...maybe take on a craft project(need extra spray paint?), break open your favorite potpourri...;)

(Younger DS graduates in May - he's thinking of graduate school since so many of his friends who've gradauted had such a hard time finding work - some of them taking jobs that they didn't really want - they just needed a paycheck!)

I know, Bella. I've wondered about the outcome to one of the things you and I've talked about. I've been hoping something good would come out of it, or something great in general would happen for you.
