I'm going Ballooning on Saturday!

I'm flying home to New Mexico tomorrow, and while I'm in Albuquerque I'm going to go up in a hot air balloon...can't wait! A friend of my mother, and second mom to me, owns, along with her boyfriend, a hot air balloon and that's who I'm going with. I hadn't planned on taking my camera with me when I went home, but now I am. Just had to share that bit of information with you.

Now that sounds like fun! I would love to but DH is scared of heights (wuss ) so I don't think I will ever get the chance.

I have been to hot air baloon festivals in PA and they are so cool to watch take off.

WOW you're brave! Have Fun, I watched the HD Special they had on it was probably on the Discovery Channel about hot air ballooning. They are beautiful to watch. Let us know all about it when you get back!

Have a great time. Having been on several hot air balloon rides, my only suggestion to you is to wear a hat. That burner that keeps the air heated puts off a lot of BTUs and you'll be glad that your head is covered.
