Going to do my first solo trip to next years Flower and Garden Show. Husband couldn't make up his mind and I really wanted to go, so decided I'd just book and what happens, happens! Problem is, it's on Mother's Day weekend! Kids are grown up, only one lives around here, so, no biggie.
Families comment, 'mom's gettin' goffy'.
Going to be staying at the BWV. Hope it isn't too crowded and weather is great.

The Flower Show is wonderful! We have ressies for ourselves and DMom and DSis, also at the BWV. Our adult children are spread out, and we can't plan on seeing them.

We've been to the Flower Show every weekend in May except Mothers Day weekend, and this year we are going to try for the Mother's Day brunch. We've had mostly beautiful weather in May.

I have friends who live in Florida and they always go to WDW for Mother's Day, and in '06, we'll be there too. When I last talked to my friend, she mentioned that they don't necessarily go to the Brunch. It is something I hope to try.

Mom may be a little goofy, but I remember a few months ago when all of Mom's energies were directed to a frantic quest to make the right DVC purchase decision! I'd say this is a much better problem to have!

Have a great trip.

I think it will be a fabulous time for you! Just think, you won't have to consult anyone when deciding what you want to do and where you want to go! If I didn't have a new baby I'd consider a solo trip, too.

Have an awesome time!!!

Its Mothers Day, you deserve to go, go and have a great time. It will be fun :flower: I always say that for Mothers Day i want to be in wdw and when my kids are all grown i will be doing the same as you. Enjoy your trip & hAPPY mOTHERS dAY ;)

Wasn't there a free photo for the mothers attending the Mother's Day Brunch? We were in Epcot that day and I seem to remember the line and asking the CM what it was for. Also, on Mother's Day, we got a flower at Yacht Club Galley breakfast and at IG when we entered Epcot.

Outside of LeCellier there was a free photo for Mothers Day. We went to the brunch. Real nice set up buffet style. Characters had a meet and greet in the lobby area. If I remember correctly it was Mickey, Prince Charming, Aladdin, Peter Pan, Prince Eric, Beast and Hercules. When we entered thru the gateway all Moms were given a pink carnation. Hope to see you down there this year. We will be leaving before Mothers Day weekend though this year will arrive April 30-May 5th first trip home to the BWV! YES!!! :)
