I'm glad to be back...I liked CSR a lot!

When we were at CSR, 2 years ago, my 2 Y.O. went down the slide with a strap-on floaty thing. No one said a thing. I took her to the top of the slide, and my hubby waited at the bottom, off to the side, to help her get out of the way.

You will love CSR. We loved the pool, and the bus service. Rooms were nice. We are staying at CBR, this time around, and I'm concerned, that it won't compare. But I want to give other resorts a try.

Have fun:D

I've never stayed at CBR, but I know its my sisters favorite moderate. I had thought about it, but I just like the way the pool and playground look at CSR.

I have to admit that your post and some pics that I recently saw of CSR made me more interested in it. My youngest child will be 5 when we go there. He will need to swim with one of the lifejackets. He was allowed to go down the POFQ slide with a life jacket, but when we went to Disneyland last year, they didn't allow him to go down the slide at the DL Hotel.

Will he be allowed to go down the Dig Site slide with a life jacket?

Honeymom,
My DH and I were at the CSR just last week. The main pool and hot tub at the CSR are really wonderful and added to the enjoyment of our Disney experience. No matter how many activites you have planned, a half day at the CSR pool to unwind is a must-do. We stayed at the Cabanas, which were a short walk to the main pool. (each section also has a quiet pool).

Although we don't have any children (yet :) ) we asked the lifeguard about this very issue as we have friends with children that are planning a Disney trip. The CSR has small lifejackets for children to wear. The lifeguard said that parents cannot go down the slide with a child in their laps, but that if the child is "brave enough" to do it by him/herself, a parent could wait right at the bottom of the slide. We saw several kids @ 3 YO wearing the lifejackets who had a ball going down the slide. One little boy was hesitant at first, but as soon as he finished his first run yelled "Let's do that again." :) The lifeguard was right at the spot where the slide hits the pool to make sure things were safe.
