As some of you know, this is my first semester back to school for a teaching degree. Tonight I am one of 5 students that has to give a 4 HOUR presentation on Islam. (cultural diversity class) My part is on the culture... clothing, contributions, and art. I am nervous!!! I love teaching kids, but getting up in front of my peers is difficult at best. Wish me luck!
I should get off the DIS and get more work done. In the next 2 weeks I have due: this presentation, another presentation next week (short, only 2 minutes for me, but combined to teach the chapter to 2 classes), a lesson plan, a 5 page research paper (haven't started that, due in 1 week), 2 papers detailing my clinical site and implications and standards, another presentation on an observation experience and I have to create a poster ( I am actually going to do a diorama-ok'd by the prof.), another paper on my attitude and disposition, and 3 chapters with write ups! Holy cow! I have to get to work now that I see this written out! YIKES!
got to go....!

pixie dust" - just imagine Tinkerbelle sprinkling it all over your audience! Please remember that every person there WANTS you to succeed and they are all on your side - HONEST!
They will have no problems forgiving you the little things like losing your place in your presentation or needing a moment of silence to think through what you want to say.
