I am so excited, I will be attending a youth ministry conference at CSR in September, and got an awesome rate, and a business class room. Sadly our 10 day no expectation tickets are cheaper than the discount ones, and we can't do a dining plan but, it's still great. What do I need to know about staying on site, CSR, or business class that I wouldn't know from staying off site?

That is awesome ! :)

Lol, um, not sure how much time your conference is going to take.

But, a couple things, depending on how you are getting there, be sure to book magical express if you are flying, its awesome.

About a week to 10 days out, send in any room requests you might have, including if you want a particular room or view (not sure where the areas of Business class rooms are, I KNOW they are in Cabanas 9B, which is a great building, but you might want to request a water view)

If you are going anywhere in the parks etc that you are supposed to be meeting other people, just ensure that you take a look at average travel times, and how long it will take you to get to the bus stop.

Thats really about it, oh, and the most important thing you need to remember !!!! .... Enjoy :)

Thanks, I will have a Tuesday mostly free, a Friday free, with a concert(night of joy?), and Saturday until we fly out free, as well as most nights. My wife won't be attending the conference so she will have more time.
Anyone have a room worth requesting? Can I only do that 10 days out?
Are the mugs only for the ddp?

Anyone can get a mug. You won't need one though with business class- plenty of free beverages. Have a great time! As a fellow minister of worship and young adults I know how stressful ministry can be and I hope to have a wonderful and relaxing time at WDW!

It should be an amazing conference and trip to Disney. I wasn't thinking about the club drinks, but we would need mugs say in the afternoon, when the club thing is closed, right? What do they cost?

Hey there,

You can put a request onto your reservation as is, BUT, the -resort- gets your reservation 10 days out, and can then actually reserve you a room. So, while its good to add to your reservation that you would like a "water view" or a specific room number, its even better if you call the resort 10 days out, when they have your reservation on file to solidify what room requests you might have.

We were in Cabanas 9153, it was AMAZING !!!! King room, corner, ground floor with a view of the lakes and the beach. I promise if you request it and get it, you wont be disappointed :)

Hope you have a wonderful trip !!!
