I can't believe that none of you picked up on my reply to the are you staying after DIS-CON II post.

I asked about suggestions for a vow renewal for our 15th anniversary and got no answers :(

Do you guys just not read or are you ignoring me?

Please tell me it is not me. :(

I would be crying here but I have been so busy trading Oregon pins on the collectors board that I have had no time for thinking.

OK enough of my pity party. I'm going to WDW in a year :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Help me out here. Give me suggestions for something neat to do for our 15th anniversary. I want it to be real special and have a whole year to plan so I'm expected you DISers to come up with some great ideas to surprise the DH

Tammy, I'm not ignoring you. As a matter of fact, I asked the same thing about our 10 year anniv. (coming this next March) and I got 'zippo' too! :(

I have to go now, but I'll think on this one and try to help out tomorrow......if this thread is still on top. ;) I only get to about 5-10 posts down each time I get online. If they're any further down.....I don't get to them. :( Sorry. :(

Love ya Tammy. :) :) :)

I would never purposely ignore any of you fine folk. If you need my attention, feel free to bonk me on the head. Tammy, I'm going to look at that thread right now.

Sorry, Tammy, I missed that part. I did answer about staying after for a few days, but didn't read about the anniversary part. I don't know about that-give me some time to think. For Bill and my 25th we did a Disney cruise, with an added bonus of WDW for a few days. We really had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed spending that time together. I'll go back and read it again. Maybe I can come up with something. :D

you guys or gals just needed a bonk on the head as Dayna put it.

Thanks for thinking about me. Love you guys. :D

I was thinking about a vow renewal thru gifts of a lifetime but am not sure where I would want to do it. I know it can't be in the park but can't really think of any places to do something like this.

I want to renew our vows on the beach at The Poly. :sunny:

And I want my mom to take the kids for a night or two so we can 'honeymoon' again. ;)

Tammy and Tia, I will be thinking about this. Right off the top of my head for places I can think of that you might be able to renew your vows: 1) The beach at the Poly 2) The lobby of the Grand Floridian (remember the bride?) 3) Maybe at one of the restaurants (Victoria and Alberts--don't know how much you want to spend.) 4)In the gazebo at the Yacht Club (that might be Disney only) 5)The lobby of the Wilderness Lodge in front of the fireplace 6)On a breathless cruise.

I'll try and think of some more places I don't know if any of these would work, but I wanted to throw some ideas out there before I went to bed.

Joe and I never said any vows or had a service or anything when we got married. We did it in Korea and it was all just paperwork and stamps on paperwork and signatures of mayors and ambassdors and such. Then we were married in Korea and then recognized by the United States.

that was it. No love, honor or cherish or nothing. I figure after 15 years (wow that's a long time) we should do something special. So this will not just be a renewal but a first time thing. Definitely something different.

Tammy, we planned our Disneyland wedding through the Disney weddings people. It's 2AM now, and I don't remember the link & I have to go in to work early tomorrow (well, really later today-yikes!) so I have to go get some sleep. Try looking on the Disney site, I think there's a weddings link there.
I have a really full day Tues, so I probably won't be able to get back here, but I'll check back soon.

Oh, yes, check our DIS board for Disney weddings & honeymoons, too! I read that board sometimes & there's a lot of great ideas usually posted there.

We did the 7-day Disney Cruise on our 15th anniversary (with MIL and kids). On our 10th, I got Sue one of those "anniversary" rings that they have commercials about. I am such a sucker. I think that the best ideas for how you should celebrate will have to come from yourselves. All we can do is throw out ideas.

Sorry that you are feeling ignored Tammy. I'll try to pay better attention.

Sorry Tammmy. I never saw the post. I never get more than a minute or two to read the boards these days.

I would do a cruise to celebrate. We just did the 4 day and it was wonderful!

Hi Tammy!

sorry I can't help with the wedding thing. I have never gotten married at all and my SO does not do Disney! Personally if I won the lottery, I rent the Magic Kingdom, Cinderalla's Carriage and the whole nine yards. Our tour guide told us about some weddings that have cost hundreds of thousands, but I guess in the real world this isn't much help!

Is it snowing in Oregon?
