I'm Engaged!

My sister, cousins, and I went down to attend the MNSSHP on Thursday. On Friday, we were at Epcot and DBF flew down to Disney to surprise me . He proposed to me right under Spaceship Earth! I was so shocked!

So, I am now officially ready to start planning my DFTW!! I think we want it sometime in December 2008. My question is: Where do I start? Or can I even start? Because I thought Disney doesn't let you book anything till 12 months out. Please help! Thanks in advance!!

As for where to start - you are right, you can't officially do much with DFTW until you hit the 12 month mark. Depending on the venues you decide on, you won't even be able to sign your contract until the 8 month mark. But, in the meantime, you can start gathering ideas, working on your guest list, and deciding on venues. Have you used the wish book feature of the FTW site? That can be lots of fun to play with and give you lots of ideas.

If we go w/ the escape I plan to move up the wedding to next year. I cannot imagine being ready for Sept 2008 w/ the custom given my family and the fact that they are all procrastinators!!! lol

The "big" would have 100 invites w/ about 70 or so that would actually come (Guessing).

Do you have any ideas by way of location yet? or reception? etc

You need a PJ girlie so I can read all about it! I want to hear about the proposal!

LOL. You're right Jenn! I think I do need to start a PJ. I really love the WP, so I think I'm leaning towards that for my ceremony. As for the reception, I've seen many brides that have had their reception at the Living Seas. So that is one place I'm thinking about. Right now, I'm estimating about 40-50 guests. Oh and I know I definitely want to do a dessert party. Those look like so much fun!
