I'm confused...

I spoke with Gib at DVC yesterday to start our paperwork. YEAH! But he told me that we could book our first stay now. How can we book it if we haven't completed the loan paperwork? I don't think there will be any problem with that, we put 20% down, but I am still confused.

If Gib says its doable...its doable. Stick with Gib, he'll treat you right. Plus give him a call and he will explain what he meant.

We just joined as well, & we were able to book. I already booked 3 trips, & we have not even closed yet. I did mail all my paper work back, but we are not expected to close until April.

You ARE already in the system. You can call MS and book (but you cannot stay until after you close).

Congrats on getting Gib....he is my guide, and he is SUCH a sweetie!!!

Thats one of the perks buying through Disney. Once you make the commitment you are able to book vacations. $500 down should get the paperwork going and a membership number to start. The only thing that you won't be allowed to do until everything is complete is transfer points to another member. Good luck and congrats

When we get our paperwork will it have our PIN so I can go to the members website? And how long after we send in our paperwork will we know that all is ok? ie. the financing and such...

In a few days you can actual call MS and ask for your pin. They will give you and your spouse separate pins. Log into the sight and reset the pins to what you want and off you go......you dont have to wait for them, call.
