I'm blue....

I have no trips planned. I don't forsee a trip until 2008. We are planning on Hawaii this summer to celebrate our twenty fifth wedding anniversary and oddly enough, I'm not really looking forward to it, not nearly as much as I would be to a trip to the World.
Anyone else feeling blue for similar reasons?

Well....I was almost in the same boat.

I have a 30 day Land and European River Cruise planned for next June and we all know that will be big $$ and didn't forsee going to WDW in 07.

BUT..... I couldn't take it anymore ...SO... I now have a 10 day solo trip planned for May

Yep ... needed my fix!! Thank goodness for my DVC

We have had some tough stuff going on in our family in recent months and I have REALLY longed for an escape to WDW. Not much longer now, but I do know exactly how you feel. On a positive note, there is only one other place on earth I enjoy vacationing as much as WDW and that is Hawaii. I hope that your Hawaii trip will be as wonderful for you as ours have been for us. Then you can join me in having TWO places to get blue about!

I'm in the same boat. Next year is my husband's 50th birthday and while he loves our disney vacations, he's ready to do some thing else (Carribbean cruise). My plan is if I'm really good at saving any extra pennies (I'm a confirmed shopoholic) I will surprise my family with a 5 day trip during Jersey week. If not, I won't be back until 2008.

We are headed to WDW tomorrow and recently decided we would take a little break after this trip as we've been going every six months for the last few years. I'm thinking that break won't last long! I second Jean's statement about Hawaii though...it is also one of our favorite places to visit.

We have done the Eastern and Western Caribbean with RCCL, and the Southern almost won out over Hawaii. We've never done Hawaii and feel that we should at least once....I hope you have a blast.

Did Hawaii in July on NCL Pride of Hawaii and very glad we did for our 35th anniversary. But that does not replace WDW. Heading out in 2 weeks for F & W!!!

We also have a RCCL planned for this dec. We are going for our 25th and taking the kids. While I'm having fun planning this trip I keep coming back to these boards. I was feeling bad so I tried to plan a trip to the world this summer but can't get it together. Thinking maybe of going to Hilton Head instead and saving WDW for a time when all the kids can come. This makes me sad.
