Well for those of you who have been hanging around this board for awhile you may remember me, newer folks won't.
In the fall of 2003 I reached my ultimate goal. I had lost 115 pounds (from 250 to 135) and even more importantly had all of my blood chemistries, etc where they needed to be - in "normal" ranges. After holding it through the holidays and into the early Spring of 2004 I signed off.
Unfortunately, a change in insurance coverage had my doctor changing one of the few medications I still needed after all that hard work and loss to a generic version. It didn't work. So 9 months, numerous dosage adjustments, finally going back to the name brand at the original dose
and getting that metabolic situation back under control (the rest stayed ok) I find myself with 30 pounds that I need to re-lose. Thank you managed health care.
Anyway, I didn't mean to vent - just explain. So I'm back to the support group if you all will have me....
