Hi everyone! Some of you may remember me, we took our first trip to DLP in March 2006 and would love to go back.

I am considering booking for Easter and to keep costs down have looked at the Hotel Kyriad. I have a price from the Eurostar web site and probably need to act quickly to get what we want. Would this be the best way to book, can anyone suggest a cheaper hotel where the cost of getting to the park doesn't make it more expensive?

Once we have booked the Eurostar and accommodation we intend getting Annual Passes, since that seems to make a lot of sense (we will be there for 3 nights), so I have noted with great interest the sponsorship thread :goodvibes

Would welcome any advice on alternative hotels

Oh, and can anyone tell me if Chicken Little is still there, or did he depart already?

Hi, welcome back.
can't help with your booking questtions, however Chicken Little had his own float in the Studio Parade on our last trip.

Thanks very much!

Surely they wouldn't banish a Chicken at Eastertime, so hopefully he will still be there :yay:

Thanks Bexx and thanks for the links Jackie, will have a look at those.

So, is it better to book everything separately? I have had to email Eurostar and selecting one adult and one youth for the Eurostar + hotel package says there is ONE train ticket and this is confusing me greatly!

Okay, the Eurostar web site now seems to have sorted itself out, making the price higher now that it's counting both of us! However, it still seems to work out cheaper to book this as a package, rather then book Eurostar and hotel separately.

I couldn't wait a minute longer and the train booking seemed a bit unstable, I suspect the trains we wanted were filling up fast, we have to change at Lille on the return journey as it is.

Anyway, all booked up in the Kyriad, 7th April for 3 nights :cheer2:

Will be looking for a sponsor for those Annual Passes :genie:

Thanks Jill, I see you've got a return trip planned too! :cool1:

I remember we were there at the same time last year, I still have green ribbon tied to my waterproof jacket! :lmao:

Hi Elaine,

Nice to see all the familiar faces still here, it's like coming home :coffee:
