I was just about to write how excited I am for Judy and will be keeping my fingers crossed and holding her in prayer - now for a few more days. Sending loads of pixie dust too!

I am sad too, Rosie - we already had a great plan and I knew we would have so much fun. Did you extend your trip to 11 days? All set at POP?

I'm thinking maybe try Cape May - it is such a pretty walk over there from International Gateway and a really pretty restaurant...but whichever you choose, it will be terrific, no doubt!

This was at Pop in Feb 2008 We did a person to person fridge swap!!! Met up a Classic Hall and I met her family !!! This terrible I can't remember her name butshe stayed in the 70's !!!

No, poor Rosie....I had to cancel our first plan for April due to a personal medical issue - then when Rosie changed her trip date to Feb it looked like a perfect time for me...so the planning began again. Then last night we had to take my 16 yr old little Maltese to the ER...$652 less in my bank account meant a Feb trip would not be possible. I feel terrible, but nothing I can do...our other Maltese had a bill of $438 just last week, so it's been a tough time with our little seniors.

We adopt senior Maltese who have been abused/abandoned or lived lives of horror in a puppy mill...they usually come to us around age 10 to 13 or so and we love them and care for them for as long they have a good life - last one lived to 19 yrs - our Vet said he lived on pure love after having never experienced any for his first 14 yrs.

I feel terrible having to cancel again, but guess it was not meant to be for me. I will be here cheering Rosie and looking forward to hearing her plans and all the antics of the trip.

I just wanted to say I really admire what your doing for the dogs.It really brought tears to my eyesI'm sorry you can't come with Rosie,but if you make it make it back to Pop one day please stop and see me so I can give you LOTS of pixie dust!!!

Continuing with the DIS Meets of former trips !!

I met Doreen at the 5th imension concert this May !! Doreen is in the same coupon train I am in !! We were excited to meet !! I still have the NH magnet she gave me!!!

More Meets to follow !!! I am really procrastinating making that final ressie !!! May ais now out soo it is looking like Cape May !! Any reviews Good or bad !!I alsolike the menu at Capt Jacks those crab cakes are calling !!!Then there is Kona and the other restaurant at The Yacht Club which I can't remember the name !!! All have menus I like !! Soo comeon guys help me out !!!

I used to LOVE Capt Jacks in DTD - but the menu changed and have not been back, so cannot help with the new menu.

Kona has not been getting great reviews lately - not a fan of it myself, but went a few times with friends.

Are you thinking of the Captain's Grille (1 cr) or Yachtsman Steakhouse (2 cr)? We've had great meals at both and they tend to get very good reviews.

Cape May is a buffet, so if you like buffets that could be the tkt!! We've not been there for the dinner buffet, but it is very popular.
