Hi All,
Well my trip to DLRP has been - and gone....I'll put up a trip report soon - however, some thoughts for anyone about to go.
Probably already in the forum, but thought I'd share these anyhow:
1) It's cold over there at the moment - wrap up warm
2) Casey Jr
The Park Map says it's closed for the season - certainly open whilst we were there (13 November - 17 November).
3) Parks seem quieter than last year - we visited same week last year and it seems quieter - as did the Eurostar.
4) Shareholders
Push for your 15% discount - I was only getting 10% in some places (although in one place I bizarrely got 25%). Some places only had barcodes for 10% - others had barcodes for both 10% and 15%, and needed some 'pressure' to use the 15%.
5) Characters can be found in Liberty Acarde during the 4pm Christmas Parade
6) Lion King - Whilst tickets are still required (11am - around the back of Videopolis) plenty of people where receiving tickets at the time of the showing.
7) Time flys at a different rate other there - 5 days seemed to fly by (!).
8) If going to Val D'Europe - get the train - it's cheaper.
Can't think of anything else.
Hope this helps someone.
Regards
Iain
