I'm back, I'm married and now planning the honeymoon to that magic place!!

Hey guys,

Don't know if any of you will remember me? I floated around the forums around this time last year as I prepared for our first family holiday to DLP.

Well since then I have got married and now planning our honeymoon and of course where better to go then to that magic place!!

We are now all booked and we are going exactly the same week as we did last year, 14th - 18th March, the week which includes St Patricks day, so we get to enjoy the fireworks again.

I now have the challenge of deciding where to eat as there are so many places to choose from and I want to eat at them all!! We will definately be eating at Cafe Mickey, Annettes and Agrabah again but this time I intend on eating at Inventions as this will be our celebratory honeymoon meal. Other places to eat are yet to be decided.

I will do a PTR soon, just wanted to say hi to everyone and say how excited I am to be going back to DLP again!!

Congratulations on becoming a Mrs! We got married in Aug 09 and went to DLP for our honeymoon with our 2 kids and it was amazing!! Ive wanted to go back every day since, Hope you and your hubby have a fantastic honeymoon

Well things are coming together!

I have a meal plan in place, we have decided on the following:

Mon - Inventions (to start the week with a bang!)
Tues lunch: Pizza Planet (if open? it was closed on our last visit. If closed we will probably go to the Plaza Gardens.
Tues dinner: Buffalo Bills
Weds lunch: Res de Stars
Weds dinner: Cafe Mickey
Thurs lunch: Walts
Thurs dinner: Annettes

Still a few weeks before I can ring and make any reservations, its 2 months in advance you can book isnt it?

I have also taken the plunge and become a shareholder!! I was so excited about!! Buying shares on the stock market...I felt all grown up and important!! lol I have bought my shares, filled out the application form and faxed it with my contract note. Lets hope the shareholders card comes in time.

Don't want to be butting in, but i notice you're planning dinner at Annettes on St Patricks Day. Do you not think the restaurants in general will be busy that evening? Might it be better to reserve a table at a bookable restaurant that evening?

I thought it would be better to go to Annettes as I wasn't too sure exactly what time we would be finished at the fireworks, so wouldn't know what exactly time to book a table for. We plan on watching the fireworks further back this time, as we were quite close to the castle last time and took a while for us to get out of the park once the display ended. Then near the end of the display we can make a dash out of the park and to annettes for dinner, hopefully beating the rush.

I have a few questions, hopefully someone will know the answer!

Its says you can pay a supplement to eat breakfast at cafe mickey. Can you also use shareholders discount off this price too when upgrading?

Can you book a table for pizza planet?

What kind of ride if POTC? we missed it last time as it was closed for maintainence. Hopefully we will get to ride it this time, just wanted to get an idea of what to expect.

Out of all the bars which would you recommend to have a relaxing end of the day drink at? I want to have a couple of cocktails once night, but just can't decide which hotel to drink at.

I had another question which has gone completely out of my head! I am sure once it comes back to me I will be straight on here to ask it!

POTC is a water ride, it's very dark and very scenic more like a piratey version os IASW that said we went on at rope drop one morning and dd called out really loud 'are we going to die?'

We only managed HNY bar last time (I endeavour to do more) really enjoyed a quiet cocktail at the end of a hard day ahhhhh.
