I'm baaaack!!! Late decision...too late??

Not sure who remembers me for me to announce I'm back - but here I am anyway!


Ok. So we WERE going to go next fall - but that was cutting into DH's 40th b-day trip. And we planned on dwelling at the beach next summer & I really don't want to commute back & forth from DL to Newport Beach nightly....so we MIGHT be considering ::keeping my fingers crossed:: this winter . Early December or mid January - not during the holiday season.

My question is - WHAT is TOO late to make character dining reservations/DLR reservations/etc? I don't know when our decision will be a sure thing so I can't run out & start planning immediately. This will be DS's first trip & DD's 2nd trip (5 yrs ago) .... so I want to be sure we get some really special things in there.

And Fantasmic....does it even exist in the Winter? Is it too late for a reservation (you know w/ the buffet & goodies)for that?

I can't remember anything I learned from when I was a regular - I need to up my abbreviation lingo again & go thru the posts to refresh my memory. And the food thread! OH! I missed so much! I think there's 301 posts on there, it was at 80 I think when I left.

I've missed you all & I REALLY hope we can swing a trip this winter - the longest I've been between DL trips is 6 yrs....I don't want to repeat that!

Regarding abreviations - HydroGuy has a sticky with acronyms on the first page. Print that.....or hang around & you'll be up to speed in a week.

I posted one more time maybe it will be more straight to the point for answers. I plan on going through the posts when I can to get reaquainted w/ the members & get some DL knowledge - re-learned.

Im sure you can always call now and reserve them... worst case senerio, just cancelled it if your trips has been cancelled.
