Hi guys.. I made it through hell week.

Today is my first day off in over a week of 14-16 hour days and I'm going to lay in bed and vegetate alllll dayyy long.

I did finally have to break down and use the cane on Saturday night when the ability to walk went out the window after I got home. I hate that stupid cane, but until I clone Matthew so I have one of him on either side of me to hold me up (well, or until I move Hugh Laurie in to hold up the other side ) I guess the cane will have to stay with me. (However, if any of you do have the ability to make the Hugh Laurie option a reality.. )

So, did you guys keep up the fun while I was gone?

Did Dyan get embarrassed more or did you guys move on to Kayla?

Was there McDreamy drool all over the board?

Has anyone tried duct tape to keep Dyan's earbud in?

I see Kayla fell from a tree according to a title of one of the threads here. If nobody was around to hear her fall from a tree, did she make a sound?

Did the Tag Fairy stop by while I was out? They better have. I still have the pictures of the Tag Fairy, Cupid, The Tooth Fairy, Santa Clause and Cosmo from the Fairly Oddparents that I can use.....

So.. what's new?

Well, it seems the rain hit around the nation and all of us fizzled out for awhile.. I'm sure it's the lull before the storm when we all kick in again!

It's raining here...and it's dreary at cold.. My DD has a track meet still in this mess.. I hope it clears up soon or they cancel the meet for today.. be my luck though; they'll reschedule for tomorrow..

I think we all got our fix of McDreamy on Sunday..so we are good to go.. However, we must name the Vet that Mer is lusting after now on GA.. What to do.. He is handsome though..

I haven't seen the tag fairy lately.. However, a few more have spotted him..

Well, I hope you have a few more days off to rest and relax.. Sorry I have no connections with Hugh Laurie otherwise I send him right over...

Take care of yourself.. Off to make cookies for the kiddos and write DD a good luck note for her meet.. DS has a soccer game so I'm going to soccer and DH is going to the track meet..

My suggestion would certainly be to put Matthew on either side to help you. . .but then of course, you'd need another one of him to feed you grapes and another one to fan you and another one to get anything else you might need. . .one can never have too many Matthews!

I am glad you made it through, Lauri. As a tax accountant, I understand hell weeks and the need to recuperate from them!

I think we are all just totally swamped. I know I am SOO ready for a weekend - and I have to paint. So if I am looking forward to painting, you can imagine what the week is like!

I don't read many of the boards here - mostly this one and occasionally the community board but only if a topic snags my interest so I still don't know a lot about the regulars on the board.

While Matthew may have been a good boy here, before you go through with cloning your own copy, please realize that the original does the following things:
1. Is uncapable of picking up his dirty drawers
2. Cannot cut the grass without complaining through the entire process
3. Is incapable of trimming shrubs without killing them
4. Has a comic book collection of over 20,000 pieces and I'm sending them to you, hope you have room
5. Snores, loud
6. Has nuclear sneezes that knock birds off of trees
7. Has been known to take a day off from work when the latest comic book superhero movie is opening so he can be the first in line. Yes, the man is almost 40
8. Has the jiggy arms when he falls asleep and almost every night manages to thwonk you over the head at least once
9. Is garlic intolerant but it never stops him.

So.. still want a copy?

OMG! Are they each in their own special-kind-of-plastic bag? Are they filed by comic book type, and issue number? Are they kept in special comic book boxes, in a room that is not damp (as opposed to the basement)?

Do the pages have to be turned a certain way - but really he doesn't want anyone else to TOUCH them?

Will he spend thousands of dollars to get a #1 of Whichever Guy He Likes, in some cases - Spider-Man (although, of course there are a bunch of different Spider-Mans.)

...Not that I have any experience with comic book boys.
