I love ftwildernessguy! While the thought of using used soap might sound gross, I have to admit, if you dissolve a little bit of the surface off, then wouldn't the undesirable leftovers be gone?
For what it's worth, we amalgamate our soap at home.
There are 4 things in life I will not borrow from someone else and I will not lend out to anyone (including family).
1. My Underwear
2. My Toothbrush
3. My Deodorant
4. My Loofa sponges
I will share the soap with my immediate family but used soap you find in a public shower...that's just not right...can I hear a ewwwww. Come on think about what and where it's washed....
If you call front desk they will bring you anything. One time my girlfriend at the time forgot all of our bedding stuff sheets pillows everything called front desk 10 mins later Disney gave us everything for our stay. But if you go to the cabins mouse keeping will give you soap.
Sorry to change the subject, but there isn't hand soap either. That's a bit of an inconvenience because if you use the rest room you have to bring your shower stuff to wash your hands after.

There has been hand soap at the sinks in every CS I have been to (but I haven't been to all of them), maybe whoever was supposed to be cleaning the one you were using wasn't doing their job?
