I'm an auntie again but P&PT needed please!

My crazy sister had her baby tonight at 2am. She was only 34 weeks 2 days along and was breech so she was delivered via c-section. She's having trouble regulating her breathing so she went right to the NICU so if anyone can spare some prayers & positive thoughts for her, i'd be appreciative. The baby is on a CPAP but they were talking about having to intubate her maybe. The baby is good sized though, 5lb 10oz... but she seems so tiny to me! We got to see her, but just for a little bit. I'll go back later today to see her... I am beat but tried to go to sleep (it's 4:45am) but am a little wired so I thought i'd Dis for awhile. So glad tomorrow is Sat and dh will get up with the kids!!!

Oh do I know what you're going through! My sister had her baby back on May 1st....10 weeks early. She was born with 2 holes in her heart, one closed shut on it's own, the other will need surgery. She was 2# 14 oz. She's now up to 7#! Try not to worry too much. My daughter was also a NICU baby and I have nothing but praise for those Doctors and especially the nurses who are there 24/7 watching over those babies. Tons of prayers and pixie dust for you and your family

They had to go ahead and intubate her... but she is doing well. This is all like living my sons birth all over again. My son was born at 34 weeks 6 days (4 days later then my new neice) and he was also breech but while I was in labor at the hospital, he decided to flip... the OR papers had already been written up and everything. So I was able to deliver naturally. But he had lung issues at birth and went to the NICU too. So everything she is going through I went through too... it's weird to do it all again. She was saying how weird it is not to have the baby in with her and it just brought back so many memories.... mostly positive and happy thoughts though!
